Urinetown is a satirical musical comedy with music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Kotis. In a world where water is more valuable than gold, we see a small band of people who are forced to use the most abhorrent of public pay toilets. As the fees are raised, so goes the people’s anger. From out of this group steps of a unlikely hero who tries to rise up against the crooked corporate conglomerate which runs the pay toilets.
